The naked truth of how our advertising works:
You've probably always wondered how advertising really works, wellit's time to take off the blindfold, this is how it works (at least how
ours work):
1. Get attention. If the advertisement doesn't demand attention no
one is ever going to notice it and thus never know of the product or
service.
2. Curiosity or interest. If the customer does not want to read the
advertisement then the value or benefit can never be delivered and
the product never sold.
3. Influence and persuasion. Our advertising informs the customer of
the value or benefit of a product, and then persuades the customer
why the value or benefit is worth paying for by showing them how it
will better their lives. The value or benefit of a product is the real
reason why customers buy. There are countless more things that
copywriting should do depending on its goal such as building trust,
likability, curiosity and credibility etcetera.
After step 3 the customer decides whether they will buy or not. These
steps work for all media forms such as commercials, websites, radio etc.
